Sure, we were over the moon when we learned Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally became engaged. But now that the dust confetti has settled, it’s time to talk about the stunning engagement ring Harry personally designed for his soon-to-be wife.

The newly engaged couple made their first public appearance at Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden today, where the Suits actress debuted her new hardware on that finger. Markle donned a stunning three-stone sparkler from British designer Cleave and Company, but—to no surprise—these aren’t any ordinary gems you’d find at your local Jared.

Not only is the center stone from Botswana, a Southern African country that Prince Harry holds near and dear to his heart, but the surrounding diamonds are from late Princess Diana’s collection. *Sniff, sniff* We have no doubt she’d be proud.
