Things to do in Green Bay this weekend: Fire Over the Fox, Rockers baseball games

GREEN BAY - Are you still looking for fun things to do during the long holiday weekend?

If you're still figuring out which fireworks show to check out this year, you're in luck. The Press-Gazette put together a roundup of Fourth of July fireworks in the greater Green Bay area. There are also other activities going on in the city to take the family out to enjoy.

If you're in the city, here is what's happening over the weekend in Green Bay.

Fire Over the Fox fireworks

The downtown Green Bay fireworks show sponsored by Festival Foods is back at Leicht Memorial Park on Thursday. Tickets for VIP seating are online for $12 but seating is selected when the ticket holders arrive. Activities start at 3 p.m. on the City Deck, through Leicht Park, and the Neville Public Museum.

There will be over 15 food trucks and live music. Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m. More information is available at downtowngreenbay.com.

Cirque Italia Water Circus at Bay Park Square

Cirque Italia has a new production about Rafael, who gets swept away by a tornado from his country home and ends up in the heart of a big city. The show will be in Bay Park Square's parking lot. Tickets are at cirqueitalia.com/tickets or by calling 941-704-8572.

Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 7:30 p.m. Friday; 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. Saturday; and 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15-$55.

COMSA Celebration of Somali culture

Celebrate Somali culture with a get-together with COMSA at Murphy Park, 1627 Dousman St. in Green Bay. Watch a traditional Somali dance and activities. The celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the park. Snacks will be available.

Green Bay Rockers play Wausau and Fond du Lac

The Green Bay Rockers baseball team takes on the Wausau Woodchucks and Fond du Lac Dock Spiders in Green Bay this weekend. They play the Woodchucks at 1 p.m. Thursday and the Dock Spiders at 1 p.m. Sunday. The games are at Capital Credit Union Park, 2231 Holmgren Way, Green Bay.

Tickets start at $12 and are available through the Rockers website.
