Field + Supply’s Fall Market Is Coming to a Screen Near You This Week!
This Thursday, October 8, through Sunday, October 11, Field + Supply’s annual Fall MRKT will be going virtual after a successful pivot to a virtual MRKT earlier this summer. The virtual market is free to attend and will take place on Field + Supply’s website throughout the long weekend.
The digital marketplace celebrates craftsmanship, artisans, and small business owners by not only offering a place for people around the world to shop their goods, but for virtual visitors to learn more about their craft with interactive programming and workshops.
Makers will be able to share their stories through video demonstrations and stories. Each maker will have a digital landing page to discover more about the company, products available for purchase, and a button to have one-on-one video chats and demonstrations—just like if they were at their booth. There will also be hands-on workshops for a limited number of participants to learn from culinary, fitness, and personal well-being experts.
Field + Supply will also be offering additional opportunities for involvement including highly curated playlists to have in the background as they explore the virtual marketplace and Tastemaker Picks, where celebrated style-makers like Athena Calderone and Sheila Bridges share their favorite discoveries from participating Makers. Additionally, Field + Supply is offering a trade program for design professionals to take advantage of special trade pricing from a wide variety of vendors.

Those who are really missing their annual trip to Hudson Valley can enjoy an impressive travel directory to plan the ultimate getaway once they feel comfortable—and once the market reopens in person. Shopping the market online is the best way to ensure your support of the fantastic town and its community of artisans so that Field + Supply MRKT can continue for years to come and is a permanent offering on the site if you can't participate this weekend.
“While we were disappointed to have to cancel the live production of our Fall Fair, the Virtual MRKT’s unique blend of content and commerce creates an emotional connection between the visitor and the maker—just as it does at Hutton Brickyards,” says Brad Ford, interior designer and founder of Field + Supply. “It is this sense of joy and discovery that has made Field + Supply such a beloved destination for an audience who appreciates great design and fine craftsmanship.”
