A Few Drops of This Anti-Aging Face Oil Makes Me Feel Alive — and It Lessens Wrinkles With Each Use

Pre-plague, I was religious about washing my face and applying a vitamin C serum and sunscreen in the morning, even on overcast winter days (I assume my medal has been lost in the mail). Yet when I started working from my bed, that routine went out the window along with fitted pants — and while my skin approves of my pared-down routine, coming up for air at 5:30 p.m. with an oily, unwashed face doesn't feel great. One splash of water and a few drops of Ogee's Jojoba Glow Face Oil, though, and I'm back in business.
As James Hamblin writes in Clean: The New Science of Skin, our skin is a living organ that works best when we futz with it as little as possible, and forgo abrasive products for ones that help support our microbiome (that's the ecosystem of microbes that lives on our skin and keeps it working well). With that in mind, jojoba oil is one of the best options: Gentle and identical to our skin's natural sebum, the anti-inflammatory fluid comes with dermatologists' full approval. It especially excels at balancing out excess oil, so when I come out of my work fugue state, it's no wonder Ogee's lightweight soother makes such a difference.
I'm not dealing with many wrinkles yet, thanks to the pea-sized drop of retinol I've used every night for years (life is about balance, so where some people go full Hamlin and see great results from swearing off skincare, I'm planning on sticking with vitamin C and said retinol). I don't have anything against the aging process, but shoppers note an added benefit of Ogee's jojoba oil is that it softens fine lines even as it helps your microbiome fight its own battles.

"I am really very happy with the Jojoba Glow Face Oil. I had been using a few high-end products in the past, and it seemed as though as I got older, the products just didn't 'work' anymore," said a reviewer. "After using this oil, I saw an almost immediate softening of wrinkles. I've been using this product along with the Glow Trio for four months now, and [I] am very happy with the condition of my skin and softening of wrinkles."

The same person added that one or two drops is all they need to coat their entire face and neck, and I can confirm: I use the face oil most days, and still haven't made a sizable dent in the bottle. Other users agree that the fast-absorbing oil has made their crow's feet lessen with each use, leaving "youthful, fresh, nourished and happy," skin in its wake — even for one 77-year-old, who said it left their skin supple and glowing.
All in all, it does good work in a short timespan. "I started using the Jojoba Glow Face Oil about two weeks ago, and I'm amazed at the difference I see in my skin," added a last person. "It looks so healthy and fresh. Wrinkles around my eyes are disappearing too. I love it!" You can pick up jojoba oil for almost any price these days, but considering that Ogee's is certified organic and made in the U.S., it's worth the tag. Get it for $72 on the brand's website.
