This Fenty Beauty Mascara Gives Me the Lashes of My Dreams

I’ve never been the type to wear a lot of makeup, but if there’s one product I always put on before I leave the house, it’s mascara. I’ve been switching between Maybelline's Great Lash Big Mascara and Dior's Diorshow Mascara since high school, but after hearing great things about Fenty’s Full Frontal Volume Lift and Curl Mascara, I decided to switch things up and give it a try — because if it’s good enough for Rihanna it’s good enough for me.

And let me tell you, I’m so glad I did! While some mascaras are formulated to either lengthen or add volume to lashes, I can honestly say this one does double duty. Not only do my lashes look longer and fuller with each application, but the innovative mascara wand actually curls them too. Seriously, I haven’t had to use my eyelash curler once since switching to this mascara.

The mascara’s brush has two sides, fat and flat, that help me expertly apply the lightweight formula to my lashes. First, I will use the fat side to lift and lengthen my lashes, then I’ll do a second coat with the flat side to help separate, define, and curl my individual lashes.

I love that the mascara is vegan and cruelty-free, but my favorite part has to be how long it lasts. The water-resistant formula has stayed put through both grueling workouts and emotional nights. Even when I find myself rubbing my eyes, the mascara doesn’t budge or smudge.

Normally when mascara stays put that long, it’s a nightmare to take off. But this Fenty option comes off easily with micellar water or a light swipe of a makeup-remover wipe.

At $24 a tube, it’s definitely on the pricier side for mascara, but I would definitely say it’s well worth the investment. Because as Rihanna says, “you get volume, lift, and curl all with one product.”
