Father Jailed for Trying to to Sell Daughter
A Wisconsin man who tried to sell his 4-year-old daughter for sex was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
KHOU reports that Andrew Turley, 30, was convicted for trafficking of a child and compelling prostitution of someone under the age of 18.
In 2015, Turley placed a Craigslist ad with the title, "Play with Daddie's Little Girl."According to the district attorney's office, in subsequent emails with undercover police officers, Turley wrote that he had a girl who was "younger than 10" and he would give her "sleep meds" before the encounter. Turley wrote that he charged $1,000 for two hours with his daughter and said the girl might be "too young for intercourse but everything else was OK."
The undercover officer arrived at Turley's Houston apartment at a scheduled time. Turley checked the cash and took the officer to the girl who appeared “under the influence of an unknown substance.”
Turley was arrested and sentenced to 30 years. He's required to serve a minimum of 45 years before he is eligible for parole.
