Fans Say "Oscar #2 Is Coming" for Nicole Kidman After Seeing Her Shocking Lucille Ball Transformation

Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman has fans in an absolute frenzy over her new look. After the release of the trailer for Being the Ricardos, she has everyone doing a double take!
The Nine Perfect Strangers actress stuns as the spitting image of TV icon Lucille Ball for her upcoming biopic set to premiere Friday, December 10, on Amazon Prime. We're used to seeing Nicole rock her long blonde tresses on screen, but some people may be surprised to know that she's a natural redhead with flowing curls (similar to her character in The Undoing).
She took to Instagram to share the trailer for her upcoming role in Being the Ricardos and, even though we only got a glimpse of what she looks like as Lucille Ball, we just can't get enough.
Fans immediately ran to the comments to share their excitement for Nicole's new role. "OSCAR #2 IS COMING!!!" said one fan. "Looks incredible!! No one could do that voice better than Nicole!! Brilliant, can't wait," said another. Even Amazon Prime's account left this sweet message: "So ready for that iconic grape scene (and all the rest!)."
Fans of I Love Lucy are in for a treat. Being the Ricardos follows the lives of icon Lucille Ball as well as co-star and husband Desi Arnaz, played by Javier Bardem. The movie takes a behind-the-scenes look into the couple's dynamic, including a series of personal and professional obstacles that threaten their show, careers, and marriage.
In the trailer we don't see much of Nicole portraying Lucille, but we do get to hear enticing dialogue from her character as she narrates the clip. "I am the biggest asset in the portfolio of the Columbia Broadcasting System," Nicole says in her voiceover as Lucille. "I get paid a fortune to do exactly what I love doing. I work side-by-side with my husband who is genuinely impressed with me. And all I have to do to keep it is kill for 36 weeks in a row. And then do it again the next year."
Fans finally get a glimpse of Nicole transformed into Lucille in the famous grape stomping episode toward the end of the trailer as well as those fiery curly locks that Lucille and Nicole happen to have in common.
In other clips throughout the trailer, viewers can see small glimpses of Nicole (playing Lucille) with her face hidden from the camera. The starlet is now trading in the long red curly look for a style that's much shorter to match her I Love Lucy character.
