Famed Westchester chef has grilling tips for you
July is prime grilling season, which makes Dale Talde's return to the Tastemade series, "All Up In My Grill" prime watching time. The show, featuring the chef/owner of Goosefeather in Tarrytown, airs July 3 at 7 p.m.
It's also available via the Tastemade streaming channel, as well as Tastemade+.
So what's on the menu? Expect fresh twists on backyard yakitori, DIY open-fire cooking, wok on a grill, and more. Of course, he'll also be serving up tips and techniques to unlock your cookout potential and make your backyard barbecues legendary. Talde, after all, is known for his fun style and innovative Cantonese cooking.

Pho Burger with Bone Marrow, Pho Dip (with crispy taro chips)
Vietnamese Espresso Martini Shake
Wok-grilled Duck and Drunken Peaches
Charred Watermelon and Halloumi Salad
You can also find Talde's cooking at Talde's Noodle Bar at Terminal B of LaGuardia Airport. The chef opened the full-service eatery in early January. On the menu: an assortment of dim sum like wings, dumplings, bao, and egg rolls. Customers will also find noodles and rice, like ramen, lo mein, and fried rice as well as breakfast.
Or, you can simply check out Goosefeather, at the King Mansion at Tarrytown House Estate where, in summer, the restaurant's front lawn is open every Friday and Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. complete with lawn games, live music and a variety of food and drinks.
For those who want to meet Talde up close and personal, check out his omakase dinner July 24 at 6:30 p.m. This intimate meal, priced at $250 per person, will showcase seasonal ingredients thoughtfully paired with wine and sake (be sure to sign up soon).
