Extra, Extra: Mila Kunis Finds Parenthood Exhausting
“Parenting is easy,” said no one ever. The latest to hop on the honesty bandwagon? Mom of two Mila Kunis.
In an interview for Marie Claire’s November issue, Kunis candidly spoke about the inevitable exhaustion that comes with motherhood and why it’s all worth it. She said, “What motherhood shows you is how selfless you can get. I’m ragged tired. Who cares? My kids are healthy, I’m happy.”
Kunis also admitted that her desire to be an amazing mother occasionally pushes her over the edge. She continued, “I overthink. I’m super-dramatic. Something not that bad, in my mind, becomes a catastrophe. I go from zero to a hundred. It’s a problem.”
The good news is Kunis and her husband, Ashton Kutcher, appear to be holding down the fort just fine. Earlier this month, the Bad Moms star revealed she and Kutcher are banning Christmas gifts this year to teach their kids about appreciation.
Still, Kunis says their strict parenting style comes from a place of love. She added, “What I want my daughter to learn from me is the value of hard work.”
Ugh, we love this family so much.
