Explore Untermyer Park and its stunning gardens overlooking the Hudson in Yonkers
Once called America’s most spectacular garden, Untermyer Park and Gardens was created in 1917 by Samuel and Minnie Untermyer on the grounds of his Greystone estate in Yonkers, overlooking the Hudson River.
This historic site combines exceptional horticulture, monumental architecture and multicultural design in a majestic natural setting.
The garden is a municipal park owned by the City of Yonkers. The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy, in partnership with the city, works to restore and enhance the site and raise funds to support its annual operation and capital expenses.
The park is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week and admission is free of charge. For more information, visit https://www.untermyergardens.org/
