Kenneth’s ultimate lip tips
Always prep skin before you apply colour. I love a lip mask that plumps and hydrates – try Lip 20 Mask by Kaplan MD, ￡37. This helps products to stay on for longer.
To make teeth appear whiter, keep to cooler blue-toned reds, rather than anything too orange.
For a modern finish, avoid liners and apply straight from the bullet, then pat the outline with a fingertip for a fresh and sexy effect.
Apply a deeper or more vibrant shade in the centre of lips to create a fuller effect.
When buying a nude, don’t go too pale as you might look sickly. Try one shade darker than your natural lip colour for a flattering finish.
Don’t be afraid to combine textures. Use matt colours for longevity, but top with a little bit of shine in the centre of lips to catch the light.
