Get Excited for Free H?agen-Dazs Ice Cream Soon

With spring finally showing its sunny face, we’re ready to have some much-deserved sweet ice cream treats – just in time for H?agen-Dazs to host its annual Free Cone Day. Is there any better way to celebrate warm weather than free ice cream?? Scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, all you need to do is visit participating H?agen-Dazs shops in the U.S. from 4-8pm and score one free scoop of ice cream or sorbet in a cup, sugar cone, or cake cone.

Free Cone Day is extra special, though, because it has a charitable component that supports a great cause. It marks the 10th anniversary of H?agen-Dazs Loves Honey Bees. While we’re scoring our free scoop of ice cream, the chain is hoping people will take the chance to donate toward their support of honeybees. Xerces Society‘s trying to build one million acres of new habitat for bumblebees, which have been dying off in record numbers. Since a third of the food we eat and a third of H?agen-Dazs ice cream flavors are bee dependent, it’s in our best interest to make sure they survive.
