Everything to Know About Julia Roberts Lookalike Katherine Izzo on ‘The Bachelor’
Despite Vanity Fair declaring that the show is “officially on life support” and Twitter deciding Zach Shallcross is somewhat boring, The Bachelor is dutifully trucking along like the little engine that could. So far, this is not exactly the most dramatic season ever, but Zach and his fleet of girlfriends are trying their best! Like, producers are truly pulling out all the stops to make this happen: two villain edits, more eliminations than ever on night one, and some vague drama over a dress.
Chances are at least a half dozen of Zach’s contestants will go on to star on Bachelor in Paradise, but we’re here to talk about Katherine Izzo. Specifically about everything from her job, to her Instagram and TikTok, to spoilers on how far she makes it on The Bachelor (and whether or not she wins). Details incoming!

Apparently Everyone Thinks She Looks Like Julia Roberts
I mean, guess I see it?
She's a Registered Nurse
Twenty-six-year-old Katherine is a registered nurse and is based out of Tampa, Florida. According to ABC, her “career as a registered nurse is extremely important to her, but her No. 1 priority is to find her perfect match.”
She Wants a Big Family
Katherine is super close to her nieces and nephews, so finding someone to “have a family of her own” with is definitely a priority. Ultimately, “Katherine’s dream man is loyal, trustworthy, a great communicator and, most importantly, her best friend. She is looking for a real man who will enhance her life, and she’s ready to put it all on the line to pursue love.”
She Had Thoughts on Tahzjuan Hawkins Crashing Zach’s Group Date
“Honestly, my first thought was, ‘Can you come back tomorrow? It’s really late in the night, we can have a conversation about this later.’ I just couldn’t believe this was happening right now,” Katherine said on Bachelor Happy Hour, later adding, “I did say something along the lines of ‘this isn’t bad b*tch energy, this is mean girl energy.’ This isn’t a way to approach this situation, or at least I wouldn’t. It was really chaotic. There was a lot going on and she wasn’t really giving us straightforward answers.”
Katherine also said she was trying to give Tahzjuan the benefit of the doubt: “I was trying to think about how maybe she was insecure or how she didn’t want to hurt our feelings. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. When I started processing how she was approaching it, I thought it wasn’t a very good display of bad b*tch energy, it was just mean. She was kind of just insulting us in order to build her relationship with him. At the end of the day, I wasn’t here to explain myself.”
Kay, on that note....
Spoilers Ahead!
Katherine Gets Her First One-on-One in the Bahamas
At least according to spoiler king Reality Steve! No details beyond that, but it sounds like she gets the rose based on the fact that she shows up in spoilers for other episodes.
She’s Eliminated in Budapest
And a buncha other contestants are eliminated during this episode. In fact, Zach’s group goes from seven to four. As of now we don’t know why Katherine was eliminated, but she went home along with Greer Blitzer and Brooklyn Willie.
The fact that Katherine made it to the top 7 means it’s definitely possible she could be the next Bachelorette (although it’s more likely that it’ll be someone from the top 4) and extremely likely that she'll be offered a slot on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise, so stay TF tuned.
