The sister-brother duo Melanie and Rodney Thompson behind Prohibition Popcorn got the boozy idea because they came across a tequila popcorn recipe online and thought they could give it a Southern twist by swapping in whiskey instead. They were really onto something: This popcorn is INSANE. If you know me you'll probably roll your eyes and be like "Yeah, yeah, you say insane a lot," but I mean it that this stuff is crack!
The buttery brown sugar glaze in which the Thompsons coat the popcorn is totally ADDICTIVE, and the whiskey gives it a subtle smoky flavor. A jar of this is perfect for any whiskey lover in your life; it's like Cracker Jack, only all grown up and ready to party.
