Habitual lawbreaker gives California sheriff's office a glowing review on social media
Law enforcement officers aren’t usually the recipient of compliments, especially in our current news cycle. But even when they do receive a kind word, it isn’t usually from people who are, by their own admission, “usually breaking some damn law.”
Deputies from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office in California shared a message Monday on their Twitter feed. The person who wrote it admitted that he or she wanted to “hate” the sheriff’s office but can’t, even when “yall arrest me.”
Hard not to appreciate the honesty of this message. Thanks for the candid review and we appreciate your support. #510 pic.twitter.com/hrfO7kTdin

Based on the image, it appears that the person messaged deputies on the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page. Perhaps they were so moved by their treatment during a recent arrest that they felt the need to post a positive review.
“You have a dangerous job AND thankless job AND even though I’m usually breaking some damn law, I wish you all the best, AND stay safe,” the person wrote, adding, “Shout out to Eden substation. Always a class act.”
The deputy who shared the image on Twitter wrote, “Hard not to appreciate the honesty of this message. Thanks for the candid review and we appreciate your support.”
One Twitter user who appears to be a police officer in Canada wrote, “This is actually amazing. Speaks volumes to your officers professionalism.”
Another tweeted, “I do agree with this persons opinion” but also asked not to be pulled over for something stupid while driving.
It’s the unexpected compliments that make you feel the best, huh?
