Eva Mendes Doesn't Mind Being a Homebody with Husband Ryan Gosling

Eva Mendes is a homebody and doesn't care who knows it.

Yesterday on Instagram, the Fast Five actress uploaded a throwback photo of herself glamorously running on a beach. "Went for a run on the beach this morning??," she wrote in the caption, before adding, "No I didn't. This picture was taken at least 15 years ago. Haven't seen a beach this year. Haven't been on a run this year. ??"

An Instagram user, who decided to bring Mendes's husband, Ryan Gosling, into the conversation, commented, "You need to tell Ryan to get you out more."

Mendes quipped back, "No thank you, I'm good. Rather be home with my man than anywhere else in the world."

Mendes and Gosling are one of Hollywood's most private couples. Despite being together for nearly a decade and sharing two children, the couple rarely make joint appearances on red carpets or at awards shows. Still, Mendes will throw the occasional bone by commenting about their relationship.

In September of 2019, for instance, Mendes spoke to Access Daily about parenting with her beau. "Oh gosh, it's so fun and beautiful and maddening," she said. "It's so hard of course. But it's that feeling of like, you know, you end your day, you put them to bed, and you know Ryan and I kind of look at each other like, we did it. We did it. We came out relatively unscathed."

She has also hinted at possibly working with Gosling on future projects. Speaking to E! News in November 2019, Mendes said, "I really want to work with Ryan again. My most fun experience was being on set with him when he was directing."
