Eugenie and Beatrice Have Been “Going Through Hell” Since Their Dad, Prince Andrew, Stepped Down
A source shares that Princess Eugenie’s and Princess Beatrice’s partners are supporting them as they deal with Prince Andrew’s scandal.
Apparently, the two are “going through hell” at the moment.
Earlier this week, it was reported that things haven’t been great over at Buckingham Palace. Royal reporter Katie Nicholl shared that the queen is having a “very difficult time behind the scenes, and morale is at a bit of a low.” And while, sure, this might have to do with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry not spending Christmas with the family, it’s more likely that the biggest issue for the royal family right now is the scandal surrounding Prince Andrew.
ICYMI, Prince Andrew recently gave a horribly received tell-all interview about his association with Jeffrey Epstein and a few days later announced he’s stepping back from his royal duties. And apparently, the scrutiny surrounding Prince Andrew has been taking a major toll on his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
According to Us, Eugenie and Beatrice have been dealing with the scandal by leaning on their partners. A source shares, “Eugenie’s husband and Beatrice’s fiancé are standing by them and are doing everything they can to distract the girls from the situation and calm them down. There have been scandals surrounding Andrew and Sarah Ferguson in the past, and while this is the worst yet, they know that marrying into the royal family comes with its ups and downs.”
The source adds that “Bea is talking to her dad most days” and has been relying on her sister for support as well, even though “Eugenie’s also going through hell with it all.” Oof. Here’s hoping Eugenie and Beatrice feel better for the holidays!
