HGTV's "Home Town" Will Return With New Episodes in January on an All New Night
Having major Home Town withdrawal symptoms? Same. Since the season four finale aired back in June 2020, we've been missing Ben and Erin Napier. Fortunately, season five has been filmed (entirely and impressively during the pandemic!) and is coming to your TV screen in early 2021 on an all new night!
Today, HGTV announced that season five of Home Town will return on Sunday, January, 3 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The hit series, which previously aired on Monday nights, will continue to follow the Laurel, Mississippi couple as they overhaul outdated homes in their community leveraging Erin's eye for design and aesthetic and Ben’s handmade wood creations.
As HGTV revealed in a press release, the season five premiere will kick off as Ben and Erin help their newly-married friends find their first home. However, finding the perfect home for this couple is even more high stakes than usual. After the couple suffered a tragic loss, Erin and Ben eager to help their friends and their newly-blended family get a fresh start in a home completely tailored to them.
Other projects to expect during Home Town season five include a cabin for a Grammy-nominated music producer and guitarist from Nashville, a home renovation for Ben’s brother Jesse, and an outdoor kitchen complete with a handmade crawfish table for a Louisiana family buying in Laurel.
