Emilia Clarke and Charlie McDowell Just Slyly Announced They're Dating on Instagram
Emilia Clarke commemorated her 32nd birthday on the 'gram by unveiling an impressive dragon cake and, it seems, a new relationship. The boyfriend rollout was sly: Clarke posted of two shadows, presumably her and her partner's, in the sand. "Well that was a birthday I won’t be forgetting in a while. ??" she captioned. The shadow person wasn't tagged, but his identity is pretty obvious considering he posted the same shot.
Charlie McDowell, a film director, captioned the identical photo on his own Instagram, "Happy birthday, E. ??" Clarke liked the photo, and McDowell liked hers. Case closed.

E! pointed out that McDowell comes from a very impressive family. He's the 35-year-old son of two accomplished actors, Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell. His step-father is Ted Danson of The Good Place.
