Ellen Degeneres Crashed ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’ and of Course She Brought Gifts
Leave it to Ellen Degeneres to make a crash appearance on Kelly Clarkson’s new show.
The talk show host made a surprise visit to the The Kelly Clarkson Show's second episode on Tuesday, and did what she does best—gave gifts to the host and her audience. And in classic Ellen fashion, one of the gifts was rather unexpected.
While congratulating Clarkson on starting the first season of her show, Ellen explained that her gift was inspired by the time Jennifer Aniston came by the first season of The Ellen Degeneres Show and brought with her a welcome mat to keep on the set.
Since the comedian’s show has been running for 17 (!) seasons, she considers the gift good luck, and decided to pay it forward by bringing the American Idol alum a gift of her own—a portrait of Ellen dressed as a queen, holding a pug. Yep, you read that right.
As for the audience, Ellen gifted them each with big-screen televisions. Honestly, we’re not sure which we like better.
