Dunkin's Super Bowl Ad With Ben Affleck Has Fans on the Edge of Their Seats
Fresh off of his appearance with his wife Jennifer Lopez at the Grammys (where he went viral for looking, shall we say, less thank enthusiastic), Ben Affleck is ready to make waves at the Super Bowl with a sure-to-be-epic commercial. He's partnering with one of his favorite companies for the special ad.
The Academy Award-winning actor was spotted in January working the drive-thru at a Dunkin' near Boston, and the coffee and donuts brand later confirmed that Ben would be starring in their first-ever Super Bowl commercial. According to People, Jennifer Lopez will join him in the ad. Unlike many Super Bowl ads that have already been released, it seems like fans will have to wait until February 12 to see the whole spot. But Dunkin' has released a few teasers, and fans are already freaking out.
One clip shows a video of a packed drive-thru menu with an exasperated-sounding Ben saying, "Welcome, this is my first day. You can have, uh, whatever you want for free."
In another clip, Ben claims in a thick Boston accent, "We're a very friendly establishment" and recites the "America runs on Dunkin'" tagline.
Fans, who are eagerly waiting on the edge of their seats for the full ad, left comments liek: "Ben Affleck and dunkin are 2 of my favorite things ??," "We can’t wait to see what has Ben brewing ??," and "Employee of the Year tbh."
This is an organic partnership for Ben, who is a fan of the brand and is often photographed with Dunkin' coffee. In 2019, he talked to Collider about having a location near his house: "It's amazing! I have Dunkin' Donuts every day. It's very weird, I have it every day and people are always like, 'Where is that? Is that near here?' So, I feel like I'm spreading the word."
