Dunkin' Cold Brew Concentrate Is Coming Soon And We're Counting Down The Days
Dunkin' lovers, your at-home coffee experience is about to get a big upgrade. As people continue to prove that cold brew is king—it's expected to hit $1.63 billion in revenue by 2025—Dunkin' plans to take advantage of the trend with a cold brew line that can be enjoyed at home.
News of the addition to the Dunkin' lineup was revealed during J.M. Smucker Co.'s investor day presentation earlier this month, Food Business News reports. (Dunkin's K-Cups are among the many products that are a part of the J.M. Smucker Co. portfolio.)
According to Joseph Stanziano, senior vice president and general manager of coffee at J.M. Smucker Co., the cold brew line will be available as "liquid concentrates." Eager Dunkin' fans can expect to get their hands on the packaged cold brew as soon as spring 2023.
“So, as we think about the path to $1 billion, we think there’s multiple opportunities to get there,” Stanziano said. “Base business, we have core distribution opportunities as well as market share gains, innovation, seasonal flavors and the new cold brew in K-Cups and roast and ground…We’re really excited to launch Dunkin’ in liquid concentrates this spring.”
Stanziano also elaborated on what he referred to as the “fourth-wave” coffee consumer, and how they're currently driving coffee trends.
"They’re looking for convenient solutions to really create and prepare these specialized drinks,” he said “And as the leader in at-home coffee, we can play in this space, right? We have the brands. We have deep coffee knowledge and expertise."
