‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Rebecca Robertson Is Expecting Her First Child
Rebecca Robertson Loflin, one of the stars of Duck Dynasty, is expecting her first child with husband John Reed Loflin, Us Weekly reports. Rebecca made the announcement on Instagram alongside her husband and their French bulldog.
She also shared a video of the moment she surprised Loflin with the news. She had conspired with her 15-year-old sister, Bella, to design a baby denim jacket to surprise him with on his birthday. At first, Loflin thought the jacket was for their dog, until he also found a positive pregnancy test.
They also surprised Rebecca’s mother, Korie Robertson, with the jacket and the pregnancy test. “The kids said my voice just got higher and higher when they told us the news,” she joked on Instagram, also noting the baby is due in January.
Rebecca, who joined the family as an exchange student from Taiwan when she was 16 and became Willie and Korie’s foster child, married Loflin in 2016; they live across the street from Willie and Korie. She is one of the grandchildren of patriarch Phil Robertson, who started the duck call business that made the family famous.
The couple will find out the sex of the baby later this month. “I think John Reed is thinking like, he wants to show his boy how to play drums and go hunt and you know,” she told Us Weekly. “But of course girls can do all of that too.”
