Douglas Library in Hebron hosting programs

HEBRON — The Douglas Library of Hebron has several activities to fill your days this week, whether you’re a toddler, a teenager, a senior citizen or somewhere in between the three.

On Wednesday, “Lunch and Story Time” will be offered at noon. Preschoolers and their caregivers can bring their own lunches to the library and hear stories in the community room.

Later on Wednesday, teenagers are welcome to attend “Mend and Make for Teens” at 5 p.m. Attendees will learn basic sewing techniques, like sewing on buttons or mending seams. Clothing in need of mending can be brought in so they can be repaired with guidance and assistance.

On Friday, a program on “Baby Goats” is open to all ages at 2 p.m. The owners of Aussakita Acres in Manchester will discuss facts on the kids, and attendees can hold the goats as well.

On Saturday, a class on “Book Folding” will be held at 10 a.m. Carol Gregorie will lead attendees in learning how to create star art. All materials will be provided.

The library is located at 22 Main Street/Route 66.
