Donald Trump Jr.'s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, calls Ivanka Trump an 'inspiration to so many women'
While many Americans were tuned into President Trump‘s Tuesday night address on border security, his eldest son’s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, had another Trump on the brain: Ivanka.
Guilfoyle, who has been dating Donald Trump Jr. since May 2018, heaped praise on his younger sister in a tweet Tuesday. The former Fox News host said she was “so proud” of the first daughter and White House adviser, whom she called an “inspiration to so many women.”
Her tweet also shared an op-ed from conservative news site the Daily Caller, which hails Trump as “America’s Wonder Woman” and a “true feminist.”
So proud of the incredible @IvankaTrump an inspiration to so many women! 🇺🇸 https://t.co/rzJsopL9ZM

“The more we dig the more we find that she embodies what it means to be a true feminist: an entrepreneur, wife, mother, sister, daughter and female rights activist,” writes contributor Anna Paulina, citing the 37-year-old Trump’s focus on fiscal independence.
“Ivanka’s work and character speak volumes,” Paulina continues. “Let’s be honest; the daughter of a billionaire could have done anything she wanted. She could have done what many heiresses do: nothing. Instead, she chooses to actively participate in female empowerment on a global scale and to leave a legacy behind that only few could rival. With great power comes great responsibility, and through her works and actions we find that Ivanka is a real-life Wonder Woman — a role model all women could learn from.”
Many agreed with Guilfoyle, who, since her departure from Fox News has been working for a pro-Trump super-PAC, with some commenters calling Trump the “first female president.” But the tweet also fired up critics of the first family.
She's very inspirational. Daughters everywhere now know that they can mooch off their billionaire father and become implicated in his criminal schemes. That used to be for sons only.

Inspiration for what? How to make millions while alleging serving the people?!? She’s an affront to all honest Americans.

How, exactly is she an inspiration?? Because she was born into wealth and has never had to work a day in her life? Because she was an amazing judge on The Apprentice? Why are you so inspired?

Some also accused Guilfoyle, who spent the holidays with Trump family members at Mar-a-Lago, of “trying so hard” to curry favor with her boyfriend’s sister.
Very unfortunate because many people feel the same. @kimguilfoyle could do herself a favor and be low in this relationship. She is trying so hard and its so obvious. Very unfortunate indeed.

While Trump has a strong fan base with conservative women and has indeed devoted time to advancing women’s economic opportunities, she has come under fire for not publicly speaking out against her father’s derogatory remarks about women. This past fall, critics accused her of letting women down by not publicly supporting Christine Blasey Ford during the Brett Kavanaugh hearing.
Some may be dubious about Guilfoyle’s tweet, but one person isn’t. Her beau, Don Jr., proudly retweeted her show of support.
