Disney Shared The Recipe For Its Chocolate Waffles With Frozen Espresso Mousse From Animal Kingdom
When someone tells you they're making chocolate waffles, the only acceptable reaction is excitement. Now, when someone tells you they're making Disney's recipe for Chocolate Waffles and Espresso Frozen Mousse, well the only acceptable reaction is...pure joy? The most happy you've ever been in your life? All of the above? Luckily for all of us, this dream has become a reality because the parks shared the recipe for this delicious dish.
This brunch favorite is typically served at Tamu Tamu Refreshments at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida but now you can make it for yourself at home. Disney shared the recipe on its blog this week and though it looks super, super fancy, it actually doesn't require quite as many ingredients as you think. In fact, if you're an avid baker, you probably have most of these at home. If the espresso mousse isn't your thing or you're making this for younger kids, feel free to skip it altogether for an even easier treat by just making the chocolate waffles.
Although you can't beat Disney chocolate waffles, if you're looking for some other brunch inspo, the parks also shared some of their favorite waffles from their parks around the world including Specialty Waffles from Sleepy Hollow at the Magic Kingdom Park, Belgian Waffles from Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, and Mickey Waffles from the Great American Waffle Company at Toyko Disney Resort. No matter what type of Mickey waffles you like, you'll be inspired to make them at home...and more than a little hungry.
