Diane Keaton’s New Home Is an Exposed-Brick Sanctuary and We Want to Go to There

Fun fact: Diane Keaton has been flipping houses for the past 15 years (because being an Oscar-winning actress just isn’t enough). 

So when we heard she just renovated her 8,000-square-foot home in Los Angeles’ Sullivan Canyon and actually intends to stay, our interest was piqued. The rustic-industrial open-concept home, which Keaton designed herself, is so dreamy you’d think she was Insta-famous and not just regular famous. Prepare to pin each and every photo.

The Young Pope star told Wine Spectator that the main source of inspiration for her exposed-brick home was The Three Little Pigs. We’re not kidding. And those bricks, yeah, they’re from the 18th century. 

Keaton used Pinterest as her home-design guiding light. So much so that she published a book about her experience, titled The House That Pinterest Built, and partnered with EBTH, a premiere real estate marketplace, to celebrate the vintage styles seen here.

We thought we recognized that reading nook. 

Despite all those exposed beams, her custom manse is even earthquake- and fireproof...because that’s a thing in California.

Here you’ll notice that Keaton keeps only one kind of wine in her home: her own. And it’s damn good. 

Each night she enjoys exactly two glasses of said wine in a lowball glass over ice in this very room. Wine not? 

The actress went back to her Annie Hall roots and outfitted her bathroom in subway tiles. Only these are cleaner than the ones in NYC. 

You know you’re big-time when you can afford that many tubes of Marvis toothpaste.

And last but not least: the kitchen. Somewhere in Waco, Texas, Joanna Gaines is proud.
