Determined Pro Skier Returns To Snow And Throws Huge Tricks After Serious Injury

Cole Richardson is back in full form after a serious injury sidelined him earlier this year.

While everything shown here is undoubtedly impressive, Cole's rapid recovery from a potentially life-altering injury takes the spotlight.

On January 7th of this year, Cole suffered a nearly fatal accident while skiing in Japan, leading to internal bleeding, organ lacerations, and a shattered elbow. After the crash, he spent a full month in a hospital bed hooked up to feeding and life support tubes as he couldn't eat unassisted.

His docs, unsurprisingly, estimated that he might be looking at a three to eight-year recovery phase.

Yet, three months after the incident, Cole was somehow back on skis for a quick heli-trip into the mountains.

And now, based on his edit from Whistler Blackcomb, it seems that Cole's once again in a position where he feels confident enough to push his skiing forward. How's that for a comeback?
