Denise Richards Announces Return to 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

But is she picking up her diamond for good?

Denise Richards is back on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The actress, 52, confirmed that she will make an appearance on the upcoming season of the Bravo hit. But, before you get too excited, Richards made it clear that she hasn't officially picked back up her diamond.

“I have filmed some episodes,” Richards shared with Variety on April 20. “And it’s been fun. And you know, I’m a big fan of the show, so it was fun to go back and film a lot of stuff with them.”

As for how her return came about? Richards, who exited the series after two season in 2020, told the publication, "This all just happened recently on the spur of the moment. I was at [Garcelle Beauvais] screening as a friend—like a real friend— I didn’t tell anyone I was gonna be there. Production didn’t know. I just showed up, like, for real life, as a real friend in real life.”

And it seems that this outing got the production ball rolling, as she added, "The next day, I was asked to go to some events—and so it’s been actually fun.”

Richards will appear in season 13, which will premiere later this year and is the first without former frenemy Lisa Rinna in almost a decade.

On the difference between past seasons and now, Richards weighed in, "When I left after my second season, I just felt as though some of the women were very toxic and they played so dirty. I understand there has to be drama, but I also think it’s fun to see women having fun, especially this age group.”

Richards previously hinted at a possible return to RHOBH, as she posted an eyebrow-raising Instagram post in March. Specifically, the former Bond girl shared a video of her in full glam and wrote, "Can’t wait to shoot with everyone again!"

Unsurprisingly, the upload inspired her followers to hit her with questions about RHOBH. One fan commented, "film…. film with who? possibly rhobh???" Another chimed in, "Please let it be, that you are returning to RHOBH."

Prior to this post, Richards appeared in a selfie with RHOBH star Sutton Stracke. In October, she wrote on Instagram, "Had a fun lunch with you beautiful Ms. Sutton girl. Glad we caught up. Although I think we could have chatted through their dinner shift ??… well.. let’s do that slumber party with @garcelle . That will be fun. ??"

And, just the month before, Richards told Jeff Lewis "never say never" about her returning to the franchise.

Sounds like this return has been in the works for some time!
