Del Faces Painful Memories When the Town Holds a Carnival for the First Time Since Her Son's Disappearance on 'The Way Home'
Del faces some difficult memories when the town plans to run a carnival for the first time since Jacob's disappearance.
Last week's episode saw a chance for Team Elliot fans to rejoice, but their glee was short-lived. Before anything could happen between the two, Kat (Chyler Leigh) left to talk to Brady (Al Mukadam) and their discussion turned into a heated kiss. Even though the two realized it was a mistake, it wasn't before Elliot (Evan Williams) got an eyeful and his hopes of KElliot were dashed once again.
In the present, Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) had hoped to see Nick (Samuel Braun) at the closing of the town's theatre, The Roxy, which his parents owned, but the now 40-something Nick didn't show. Will Alice ever meet the adult Nick the current day? How awkward will that reunion be?
In "Building a Mystery," this week's emotionally intense episode of The Way Home, the town of Port Haven plans to revive the carnival for the first time since Jacob (Remy Smith) disappeared all those years ago. Del has painful memories of that time, but hopes that facing those memories will help her start to heal.
Meanwhile, Kat puts her expertise as a journalist to work as she tries to piece together the events surrounding Jacob’s disappearance and gains new insight after she speaks to the last person to see brother - Jacob's best friend, Danny (Peyson Rock). Danny has been dealing with his own traumas from the night Jacob disappeared. Later, unbeknownst to each other, Kat and Alice decide to try and change the past.
In the Parade.com exclusive clip below, Kat asks Elliot for help in saving her brother in the past. Also check out the exclusive images in the gallery!
New episodes of The Way Home premiere on Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel and can be streamed on Hallmark Movies Now later in the week.
