Deadpool 3 Resumes Filming Following Actors Strike Agreement

Deadpool 3 isn’t close to being finished. The Marvel film will miss its scheduled release date of May 3, 2024 in a delay that could prove costly. It is, however, re-entering production.

With the SAG-AFTRA strike suspended, work is resuming on countless film and TV projects, and Deadpool 3 is one of them. In fact, it’s high up on the priority list, having already shot 50% of its content before filming was shut down, as reported by Deadline.

Shooting to get the remaining 50% of the film in the can is now underway. Deadpool 3 star Ryan Reynolds confirmed the movie’s release on X, captioning a picture of a considerably ugly dog: “Did Dogpool save the day? Not a chance in gremlin hell. But she IS currently causing the Disney plushy merch department nightmares. Coming with the movie, Summer 2024.”
