Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin Were Photographed On a Dinner Date in NYC
Allow Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin to clear up any doubts you had that they're still dating. The actress and Coldplay singer were photographed nice and close at a dinner they had at East Village's Double Zero restaurant this Tuesday. According to Daily Mail, they left the restaurant hand-in-hand after, so there was some after dinner PDA.
During dinner itself, the two weren't quite making out (this is not Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello-level summer love), but they did look adoringly at each other, the way a couple would.
Johnson and Martin were reported to have broken up in June. The two never confirmed this news, but in August, E! and Us Weekly confirmed that the two were back on, according to multiple sources.
A source told E! that "they're planning to spend more time together later this summer." And here they are, doing just that these past couple weeks. Johnson and Martin have been seen together at industry events and on vacation in the Hamptons. At one point, Martin's ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Brad Falchuk joined them.
In fact, Us Weekly reported earlier this month that Paltrow is to thank for Martin and Johnson's reconciliation. "Gwyneth is the one who pushed them to do it," a source told the outlet.
Johnson and Martin have kept their relationship very private. The most Johnson has said about Martin was in her November 2018 interview with Tatler. She explained then that she was keeping their romance private. "I'm not going to talk about it," Johnson told the magazine, per E!, when asked about their relationship. "But I am very happy."
