Cracker Barrel Is Now Selling Biscuit Pot Pie And Biscuit Fresh Toast
Fall is great for many yummy reasons: Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice latte makes a triumphant return, Dairy Queen's Pumpkin Pie Blizzard will make its comeback as the September Blizzard of the Month, and Dunkin Donuts will bring back pumpkin and maple flavored treats. To add to all this delicious fall food, Cracker Barrel has just announced what's going to be on their autumn menu, and it sounds insanely decadent.
Cracker Barrel biscuits are pretty much legendary. The chain hand-makes approximately 522,000 buttermilk biscuits each day, and they'll probably be making even more thanks to their new fall additions. The expanded "Tried and True Made New" fall menu will be available at select Cracker Barrel locations across the country. Now through October 7, the fall menu will include a Parmesan Crusted Biscuit Pot Pie, Biscuit French Toast, and Buttermilk Biscuit Beignets.
The Parmesan Crusted Biscuit Pot Pie features an oversized buttermilk biscuit with a parmesan crust. The pot pie is filled with chicken, peas, carrots, celery, and onions, all in a creamy sauce seasoned with pepper and thyme.
If you're looking for something sweet, go for the Biscuit French Toast. The treat also features buttermilk biscuits, but this time they've been dipped, griddled, and topped with sweet blackberry topping.
Or you could opt for their Buttermilk Biscuit Beignets, which are served with a butter pecan dipping sauce.
The fall menu also features a Pumpkin Pie Latte, which comes topped with whipped cream, cinnamon, and other spices. Because what's fall without a PSL, after all?
