A Contemporary Florida Estate With Both Ocean and Intracoastal Access Lists for $87 Million
With all the sprawling residences coming to market in Florida lately, it’s no surprise that the Sunshine State was recently reported to be among the top ultra-luxury markets in the U.S. for 2024. That may continue with Palm Beach seeing its only vacant lot with oceanfront and intracoastal waterfront access listing for $200 million last week. Thirty-five minutes away, a newly listed estate in Manalapan was just hoisted onto the market with similar fixings, but this $87 million retreat requires no additional work aside from moving in.
The sun-soaked sanctuary on South Ocean Boulevard spreads across nearly two acres between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. It was originally built in 1995 and later taken down to its footprint for a complete rebuild that was spearheaded by Siobhan Zerilla of Bluedoor Building. The contemporary digs took two years to rebuild and transform into a tropical oasis that includes main and guest residences, each with a swimming pool of its own. Candace Friis and Phil Friis of Corcoran hold the listing for the property, which counts notable neighbors like tech billionaire Larry Ellison.

Set back from the road, the estate stands in a world of its own, with a double-gated horseshoe driveway that loops around the guest house on its way to the main residence. A large tree and garden anchor the central courtyard entrance where a walkway with a wood-clad cathedral ceiling and smooth stone flooring lead to a grand entry hall. Six bedrooms span the roughly 25,200-square-foot home in addition to seven full bathrooms. Another two bedrooms and baths are contained in the guest house that also has a full kitchen and dining area.
Natural materials like white oak floors accented by Santorini shell stone, mahogany, bespoke plaster walls, and two types of marbles are featured between the structures and aid in elevating the open-air interiors whilst framing waterfront views. The main residence’s formal living room does so via floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, as well as the kitchen and family room, which both provide oceanfront vistas and access to the rear loggia.
Similar sights are found in the primary suite that occupies its own wing on the ground level. The space also includes a spa-like bathroom laced with marble features, a private sitting room, an ocean-view office, and dual dressing rooms.
With health and wellness in mind, the home incorporates a number of amenities on the lower level that get the blood pumping, like a steam shower, game room, and gym. A wine room and home theater are nearby.

Beyond the east-facing loggia is the infinity pool overlooking 160 feet of ocean frontage. Take a dip here, or cross the main road at the front of the estate to reach a private dock leading out onto the Intracoastal Waterway where “gone fishing” makes for the best OOO reply.
