This new Columbia business caters to barbecue, grilling enthusiasts
Barbecue and grilling enthusiasts now can one-stop shop for supplies in Columbia.
Missouri Barbecue Supply, 3890 Rangeline Street Suite 109, will hold a weekend-long grand opening celebration starting Friday. The store first opened July 1. It is closed Wednesdays but is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Different samples will be offered throughout the grand opening weekend, store owner Casey Clark said in a news release. The public is invited to meet and greet various local manufacturers, and guests can enter the store's grill giveaway.
Included in the giveaway is a Gen 3 Firebeast from Z grills, an all-weather cover, Manchester Wood Pellets Five Star Blend, a grill accessory package, along with a collection of sauces and rubs from Show-Me barbecue sauce, Sticky Pig, Spicewine Ironworks, Augie's Sauce and Spice Co. and Meat Apostles. Entries are accepted at the store through July 15 when a winner is announced.
“Columbia is in the middle of some of the greatest barbecue traditions of America — Kansas City, St. Louis, Memphis, Texas — and it’s time we had a store where people can explore the joy of smoking and grilling," Clark said.
Missouri Barbecue Supply "is designed to support and encourage the backyard enthusiast as well as the serious grill master," the release noted.
Products on its shelves are both well and lesser known and originate in Missouri, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Texas, Oklahoma and anywhere else barbecue is enjoyed.
