Colin Jost & Michael Che Named Hosts of 70th Primetime Emmy Awards
Remember that cute guy who walked alongside Scarlett Johansson at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere? Well, his name is Colin Jost, and he’s about to bring a whole lot of funny to the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.
According to Variety, Jost and his SNL Weekend Update cohost, Michael Che, will host the awards show on September 17. Yep, we’re already crossing our fingers for a Stefon (Bill Hader) cameo.
Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, said in a statement, “NBC is thrilled to be the home of this year’s Emmy Awards and with Colin and Michael in the driver’s seat as hosts, along with surprise appearances by other cast members of Saturday Night Live, I think we are in for one of the funniest awards shows in a long time.”
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards airs on Monday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Our DVR is already set.
