Chrissy Teigen Shut Down John Legend On Instagram

Chrissy Teigen takes no prisoners when it comes to social media clapbacks, and not even her husband, John Legend, is safe – especially on Chrissy's birthday. The model turned 32 yesterday and John paid tribute to his wife by posting a heartfelt and über gorgeous photo of her on Instagram.

Innocent enough, right? But Chrissy was not here for it. Instead of doting on her hubby's sweet message, she outright said what we were all thinking:

And she's not wrong. This isn't 2006, John. You can't get away with low-grade Myspace pics anymore. She's Chrissy Freakin' Teigen. Have some respect!!!

Despite the unabashed shade, their marriage held strong and the two celebrated her birthday with a retro, PanAm-themed party in a venue decorated just like a mid-century plane.

Everyone dressed in '70s inspired costumes, including guests Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West, and Kris Jenner.

Here's to love's eternal glory, re: Chrissy sassing John. (And to Kris Jenner's dancing, because that's unparalleled entertainment right there.)
