Chrishell Stause Sold Her Wedding Ring from Justin Hartley to Buy Her $3.3 Million Hollywood Hills Home
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause just visited The Kelly Clarkson Show, and casually informed Kelly that she sold her wedding ring from Justin Hartley to help pay for the $3.3 million home she bought herself in the Hollywood Hills.
“When sometimes life gives you lemons, sometimes you’ve gotta add a little vodka,” she said. “I was trying to, you know, make the best out of a situation. So yeah.”
The ultimate upgrade! As Kelly said, “I mean, what are you supposed to do, keep wearing it? I think that’s amazing. You did something good with the money.”
As a reminder, Chrishell was married to Justin from 2017 to 2021, and their breakup was covered on Selling Sunset Season 3—mostly because Chrishell found out that he'd filed for divorce over text message. Which...wtf. As she put it, "I found out because he texted me that we were filed. Forty-five minutes later, the world knew."
Nowadays Justin is married to his former Young and Restless co-star Sofia Pernas, and Chrishell also had something to say about that on Selling Sunset, telling Heather Rae Young and Mary Fitzgerald (who asked if she'd "heard" the news, lol), "I feel like the world heard that." She then told cameras, "My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well, and a lot of things made sense after finding that out. I wish them the best. You know, I think that actually, if anything, it felt good to know that. It felt like a little bit of closure."
Reminder that a new season of Selling Sunset premieres on April 22, and Chrishell's relationship with Jason Oppenheim will be featured.
