Once known as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Rec, Chris Pratt is now a verified — and very fit — hottie.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star transformed his body while filming Jurassic Park and his fitness regime seems to have only increased since. But even movie stars can relate to feeling ho-hum about the gym.
“My workout routine really changes and evolves — as in, sometimes I don’t have one,” Pratt, in a video for Amazon, says laughing. Right now, what he does have is a brand new partnership with the commerce site, where an entire page will feature the star’s workout essentials like Bose headphones, adidas running shoes and a $550 transforming gym back he designed with Tumi.
All of the items featured in the actor’s curated Amazon shop are part of his workouts. He says he often relies on cardio, yoga and weight training to keep fit.
“I like to get a good medicine ball workout,” he says. “Sly Stallone once told me the only thing that matters is abs and arms.”

While Pratt’s partnership with Amazon is brand new, the actor’s announcement was met with a bit of controversy.
Pratt’s Instagram post announcing his curated page featured images of the actor posing at the gym with a plastic water bottle. Actor and activist Jason Momoa wrote: “bro i love u but wtf on the water bottle. no single use plastic. come on”
Momoa’s comment was met with several others criticizing Pratt. (According to National Geographic, it’s estimated that 1,000,000 plastic water bottles are used globally every minute, and only 30 percent of those are recyclable. In total, it takes a single water bottle 450 years to degrade. Much of the plastic waste goes into the oceans and severely impacts marine life.)
That same day, Momoa apologized for all the backlash Pratt received and wrote: “BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do. I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen. I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic. the plastic water bottles have to stop i hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase. You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU. All my Aloha, Da Momoa’s.”
Though Pratt didn’t make it himself, there is a reusable water bottle that is included in his Amazon store.
In the video released on his Amazon page, Pratt (perhaps coincidentally) says: “I like to reuse water bottles. I don't like to use a ton of plastic. Not as good for the environment.”
The stainless steel GiiVEN 32 oz. bottle is Pratt-approved. It comes with double-wall vacuum insulation that can keep cold liquids chilly and hot drinks steaming. With every purchase, GiiVEN says a portion of the revenue is directed toward a non-profit of the company’s choice.
