Chris Hemsworth Takes Kids on 'Boat Trip' in Outdoor Bathtub in New Photos
Adventure is out there!
Chris Hemsworth took his kids on a nautical adventure, but it's not quite the one they were looking for.
The Thor actor took to Instagram to share a couple of photos of their water-based antics, but explained in his caption that they all had to make do with what they had.
"Kids wanted to go on a boat trip. This is the best we could do. They might have been slightly disappointed," he wrote.
Both photos show Hemsworth lounging in a copper tub on an outdoor deck, one child sitting on his lap and another sitting at his feet. His arms are held up in a pose reminiscent of showing off your biceps, with his hands in the "hang loose" hand sign.
In the first photo he looks down at the child in his lap, and in the second he's turned to make a silly face at the other—or, perhaps, just caught mid-sentence! It almost looks like he may be trying to convince them that this is a worthy alternative to the boat ride they asked for.
"'I don't think this is how a boat works Dad.'-😂💙," one commenter jokingly wrote on behalf of the kids.
And of course, plenty of people had to point out how they certainly wouldn't be disappointed by the turn of events themselves. "How do I get on this boat trip? 😂," one even asked.
While it may not be the boat trip they were really hoping for, quality time with their dad is surely always fun. And if Disney has taught us anything, it's that adventure is out there—especially if you know where to look!
