What Was Chelsea Clinton Doing in Central Park?

On June 3, The Public Theater held its Annual Gala at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, this year honoring the women who have contributed to The Public’s artistic life. The Public is responsible for the beloved summer series "Shakespeare in the Park," as well as productions at its Lafayette Street location, home to the cabaret-style Joe's Pub, and around New York City. This year's annual gala featured musical performances from Public Theater productions like A Chorus Line, Fun Home, and Miss You Like Hell. The celebration was inspired by the legacy of Lisa Garcia Quiroz, a former Public Theater Trustee. Michael Bloomberg, Jane Lynch, Antonio Banderas, Chelsea Clinton, and Huma Abedin were in attendance.
