Central Market, a beloved icon in the heart of downtown York, is celebrating 14 new market vendors this week with a ribbon cutting to celebrate the businesses.
The ribbon cutting will take place this Thursday, April 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Some stands are reaching a milestone anniversary, including Mad Radish Farm, a Dover area farmstand offering produce, meats and dry goods. Other stands are expanding locations within the market, such as Russy's Sweet treats and Eats, which will now serve crepes in addition to smoothies and specialty desserts, and Auggies Joint, offering hot dogs and cheesesteaks.
And some vendors are brand new to the community. These businesses include:
Adams County Winery
Commonly Overlooked - offering plants
Scorch and Scoville - offering hot sauce
Rowan Tree Farms - offering meats, flowers, produce, and dairy
Charming Meadows - offering mushrooms
On the Bun - offering bread and baked goods
Battle Field Bakery- offering fudge, fruit bread, cookies and coffee
Brazilian Sweets and Treats - offering Brazilian chocolates and desserts
Slow and Low BBQ - offering Texas BBQ with an east coast flair
Little Elephant Thai - offering Thai food
Neilly’s Foods - offering rice mixes
