‘Charlie’s Angels’ Alums Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson Reunite for Rare Occasion
Charlie's Angels co-stars Jaclyn Smith, 77, and Kate Jackson, 74, who starred in the TV series that ran between 1976 and 1981 with the late Farrah Fawcett, reunited for a rare special occasion.
The pair came together to celebrate the wedding of Smith's son, Gaston Richmond, to Bonnie Lane. Smith shares Gaston with ex-husband Anthony B. Richmond, and they also have a daughter, Spencer Margaret Richmond.
The actress was stepmother to Joe Cole, her ex-husband Dennis Cole's son from a previous marriage. He sadly died in 1991.
Smith shared a video of the special occasion on Instagram, captioning it, "There is nothing like family, and ours grew this weekend! I’m so endlessly proud of my son Gaston and am wishing him and Bonnie a lifetime of happiness."
In the video, which was set to Natalie Cole's "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)," the venue was filled with flowers and elegant decor, while guests gathered outdoors for the ceremony and reception.
The clip showed Smith, Jackson and Smith's fourth husband, Brad Allen, chatting at the reception. Smith looked stunning in a mint-colored sequined gown with feathers, while Jackson went for a more relaxed look with a neutral blazer over a blue shirt, paired with white pants.
This is the first time Jackson, who moved to Keswick, Virginia, in 1995, has been photographed in public in over a decade, since Fawcett's funeral in 2009.
After moving away from Hollywood in the 1990s, Jackson still acted, but usually in TV movies or small appearances on TV shows. Most recently, she played the character Ambassador Elizabeth Prentiss, the mother of Paget Brewster's character Emily Prentiss, in a 2007 episode of Criminal Minds.
Smith continues to act occasionally, reprising Kelly Garrett, her Charlie's Angels character, in the 2019 reboot, while also appearing in a couple of episodes of All American on The CW.
