Celebs Were All About This Cool Color on the Emmys Red Carpet
The 2019 Emmys are officially here and the red purple carpet looks definitely did not disappoint. There were dramatic sleeves and lots of unexpected color combinations, but there was one hue that reigned supreme: blue. See how everyone from IRL Cinderella Brittany Snow to The Good Place star Jameela Jamil rocked their own versions of the hue.
Brittany Snow
The 33-year-old Almost Family star stunned in a Disney princess-esque J. Mendel chiffon strapless gown complete with a nude underlay and delicate Swiss dots. She accessorized the look with diamond drop State Property Mitra triplet full pavé 18-karat gold earrings, a Stephen Webster ring and Casadei shoes. Snow described the look as “effortless” and “classic old Hollywood” and we definitely agree.
Jameela Jamil
The 33-year-old The Good Place star looked to Princess Jasmine for style inspiration and selected a Monique Lhuillier one-shoulder voluminous number. But that’s not all. She also did her own makeup for the event and did a pretty incredible job, if we don’t say so ourselves.
Regina King
The 48-year-old American Prime star donned icy blue for the occasion. Between that high halter neck and thigh-high leg slit, we can’t get over her custom Jason Wu getup.
Padma Lakshmi
The 49-year-old Top Chef brought her fashion A-game to the 2019 Emmys in an icy blue Christian Siriano ensemble with a dramatic bow in the back and shining Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Needless to say, we’re majorly obsessed.
Anyone else suddenly feeling inspired to wear an all-blue outfit to the office tomorrow? Just us?
