Celebrities Remember Queen Elizabeth II on Social Media
Various public figures joined the global mourning of Queen Elizabeth II with social media posts celebrating her life.
The queen died Sept. 8 at the age of 96 after serving as head of the monarchy for 70 years, a world record. The royal family announced her death on Twitter and did not disclose her cause of death.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

Later that day, the musician also honored the queen during his concert at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell responded to the news of the queen's death, calling it "the end of an era."
In a carousel of images taken throughout Queen Elizabeth's Life, Campbell honored the late queen and wrote "END OF AN ERA: HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN. you gave us a life of selfless service, unparalleled in every day condolences to the entire Royal family.
