Cat Serves As Foster Brother to Baby Squirrel and We Can't Take It

This might be the sweetest thing we've ever seen.

If it weren't for TikTok, we don't think we would've known so many different animals befriend each other. Every once in a while we'll come across a video that blows us away. Like how are these two completely different creatures so at ease with each other? 

For example, this clip from TikTok user @pipthebabysquirrel is unlike anything we've seen before. A cat is laying down right next to his foster brother. Reading that you'd probably think another cat, but nope. It's a baby squirrel. Check it out!

Aww! This video completely warmed our hearts. The baby squirrel named Alvin (great name!) felt so comfortable with the cat. He nuzzled right into the cat's fur. That's something you don't see every day! 

"Awww Alvin wanted to be warm and cozy," said @gultamanna8. And Beanz the cat provided exactly that! Someone deserves some extra catnip for being such an amazing foster brother! @regretegret88 commented, "This is fascinating. My cat would never." We didn't think any cat would ever! Cats usually march to the beat of their own drum, but once again TikTok is showing us just about everything.

Another TikTok user, @chef_sheila, wrote, "Thanks for sharing that. Needed to see something heartwarming." Seriously though, this brightened our entire week. We couldn't love this video anymore. It might be the best one of the year! We can't wait to see more of these beautiful foster brothers.
