American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace centered around the brutal
murder of fashion designer Gianni Versace, who was tragically shot outside of his Miami Beach mansion by serial killer Andrew Cunanan in 1997. The first American Crime Story installment, The People v. O.J. Simpson, also won critical acclaim in 2016, when the show went home with three Golden Globe awards. Tune in to the 2019 Golden Globes on NBC tonight to see if Versace is similarly successful.
