Carrie Underwood Is Pregnant With Her Second Child

Carrie Underwood just announced she is expecting her second child with her husband Mike Fisher. “Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another fish to our pond,” the singer told fans in a video she posted to Twitter this morning. Underwood gave no detail on when she’s due and did not reveal the baby’s gender yet, although she did note her tour would begin in 2019 to accommodate her pregnancy.

Underwood and Fisher welcomed their first child, son Isaiah, three years ago on February 27, 2015. In her September interview with Redbook, Underwood talked about being open to more children later. "I'm 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family," she said. "We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older. In the meantime, we're lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids, because our focus right now in our lives is helping as many kids as possible."
