After joining forces with the iconic comic strip “Peanuts” to deliver a new “Take Care With Peanuts” collection in June, Cariuma has announced that its latest multi-shoe collab with “Avatar: The Way of Water” is available for pre-order.
The project includes new iterations of the popular OCA Low, the Vallely, and the OCA High, with each style inspired by the bioluminescence and the environments of the “Avatar” films. Both the OCA Low and High are crafted from a 100% recycled canvas upper and are equipped with glow-in-the-dark graphics that are inspired by the unique plants found in the fictional Pandoran ocean.
The Vallely sneaker is constructed of a high-performance vegan suede and organic cotton canvas materials, with the tooling made of natural and recycled rubber. Cariuma branding is stamped on the mid-panel while co-branding appears on the tongue tag.
“Fans were transported to the dazzling rainforests of Pandora in the original Avatar, and in the all-new film, viewers will plunge into the depths of Pandora’s alien and beautiful oceans to experience underwater life. Our collaborative design captures this extraordinary biome that will immerse viewers throughout the film,” Cariuma said about its new collection with “Avatar.”
The “Avatar: The Way of Water” x Cariuma sneaker collab is available for pre-order at Cariuma.com, with prices ranging between $110 to $119. According to the brand, the sneakers will be shipped by Dec. 15.
