Hallmark fans, we have some interesting news to share. Earlier this month, Great American Country Media (GAC), a TV network focused on family friendly content, announced it was hosting a Christmas in July weekend event. Airing all-new films for viewers to watch, fans got a glimpse at what the channel had to offer.
If this sounds remotely familiar to you, it's probably because the entertainment event seems to be following a similar format to their rival network, which gives viewers holiday programming during the summer months. But this isn't the first instance GAC appeared to be following in the steps of Hallmark. This past May, Candace Cameron Bure announced her departure from Hallmark to join the network, with plans to produce and star in content airing on its umbrella channels GAC Family and GAC Living.
“I’m very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch,” Candace said in a press release at the time. And she's not the only one jumping channels. Other Hallmark alums like Danica McKellar, Jen Lilley, Jessica Lowndes and Trevor Donovan have also made the move over in recent months.
Naturally, this has all got many fans wondering how they could access GAC Family for themselves, as evidences by their questions on one of the network's most recent Instagram posts. "What channel is it for Verizon??" one follower asked in the comments. "Will you ever be viewable on Youtube TV? Please I hope????" another said. "Is this on sling yet?? Would love to get it," one more added.
Luckily, we did some digging to make sure you won't miss out on any new content.
